which can be caught using similar tactics to Black Bream. This north Wales anglers rod registered a classic violent gilt head bite, the bream was the average size at the moment here in north Wales but who knows how big the next will be. These fish are great to look at in the flesh and a real joy to catch, so we don’t begrudge the size of this one being landed onto our beaches here.

Tope on fish baits some very nice flounders can be had with bass on lug crab and ragworm the best time is about 1 hour after high then fish it down the ebb.

Llŷn Peninsula

The rocks hold good sized pollack and wrasse. Big shoals of bass run along the reefs when sand eels and mackerel are around in late summer they patrol the rolling surf beaches
