A very nice 6 pound Bass

Bass fishing at night,is an effective strategy for fishing along our North Wales coast. Targeting bass at night can offer a unique challenge and potentially higher rewards, as they tend to feed more actively in low-light conditions. particularly in shallower waters. Their keen sense of sight and ability to detect movement through their lateral line makes them efficient nocturnal predators. Tide and Moon Phase Influence activity, is strongly linked to tidal movements. Fishing during a rising or high tide, particularly around the full or new moon.
A good quality headlamp with red light mode is essential. Red light preserves night vision while still allowing you to see enough to handle gear and tie knots and bait presentation. With the right techniques, gear, and understanding of tides and moon phases. Bass are more likely to venture into shallower waters without as much a caution. Sandy beaches and estuary mouths are ideal spots for targeting Bass at night. If you plan to go fishing, consider the fact that a new moon or full moon will have a stronger or more pronounced tidal movement due to the pull of gravity.
